CORINEX CEO met with VP of EC for the Green Deal

Peter Sobotka, CEO of CORINEX, one of our new board members met last week with the EC VP responsible for the Green Deal. Among other things, Peter defended the importance of flexibility in power grids for the European  Energy Transition. He had the opportunity of commenting the work being done in PRIME Alliance for the use of BPL in his chaired TF.  

“This has led to thousands of connection requests for renewable energy generation, storages and heat pumps being rejected due to insufficient grid capacity.

So we are investing billions in windmills, in photovoltaic panels, but we cannot get this renewable energy to the final consumer. So let’s invest in the grids which can get it where it is needed.“
