Atende Software and ANDRA have been selected in the tender for providing 6 600 DCUs with balancing meter functionality for Energa-Operator, one of the largest DSOs in Poland.
The device (codename Comander) was designed and developed from scratch on the basis of Phoenix-RTOS operating system and Phoenix-PRIME – the first pure software implementation of PRIME standard intended for entry-level microcontroller. Device is based only on one microprocessor equipped with RAM, FLASH and ADC/DAC converters. All device functionalities are implemented in the software.
The tender states that Atende Software will be responsible for providing the complete design of the device and the proprietary software, whereas ANDRA (a company with many years of experience in designing, manufacturing and implementing solutions dedicated to utilities sector) will manufacture the devices.
