This agreement paves the way for the alignment of PRIME companion profile with DLMS specifications, facilitating seamless integration of standardized DLMS UA generic companion profiles over PRIME communication infrastructure.

The liaison agreement between DLMS UA and PRIME Alliance represents a major achievement in the pursuit of heightened interoperability within the smart metering industry. As part of this strategic partnership, both organizations will ensure that devices will meet the high standards set forth by both organizations and they will enable compliance and compatibility certification with the core DLMS UA specifications when operating over the PRIME communication protocol.
